    1. This book was a train wreck from the start. I tried so hard to get into it but found so many things that bothered me that I couldn't get past. Most annoyingly the story is made up of so many disjointed parts. There is too much going on and most of it is irrelevant and not even interesting. There were several other small things that bothered me. The restaurant was referred to as Tony's and Toni's on several different occasions. The dialog was just ridiculous! So much was said in dialog that could [...]

    2. A few weeks ago, I added it to my "To Read" list, and Bryan Mooney let me know that the Kindle editions were on sale so I decided to bump it up to the top and try it out! Love Letters was exactly the type of novel I was looking to read by the beach. I loved the setting seeing as I spent a week in Miami earlier this year. At first, I was a bit hesitant because I was comparing "Love Letters" Katie to "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas" Katie (which I had just finished). Love Letters was so much less pr [...]

    3. I picked this book because of the Kindle price, ($2.99) and the reviews I read at . People were raving over this new author on Kindle blogs. I started reading and the lights went out in my house and I had my husband get the candles. I kept reading by the light of my Kindle Fire. I couldn't put it down. The story is realistic and very touching. In the book she finds letters in some books she bought at a flea market and begins to read them. Even though they are written to his wife, whom he obvious [...]

    4. I love the premise of this booknding love letters in an old book that you bought at a flea market from a handsome stranger. You can't get much more romantic than that. The back stories on both of these characters is very interesting and the side stories of what they each are involved in seperately adds other laysers as well. I like a good romance just like any other gal, but this book has more ingredients than your garden variety romance booksrder, mystery, graft, corruption, crooked lawyers, po [...]

    5. Was okay quick summer read Okay I need to update my review, the storyline bothered me in this book because there is not one man I know (which may refelct on the men I know) can write a grocery list and remember all that is on it let alone write a love letter. This did have a good story line just not one that is believable to me.

    6. I am a Nicholas Sparks fan, and this book came up as a recommendation on my Kindle, and was on sale for only $.99, so I figured I'd give it a try. Glad I did! It was a pretty quick read, and it was very interesting how all the pieces of the story came together at the end. I'll definitely check out more of his books.

    7. The main story was cute, but there were too many additional sub plots going on, none of which resulted in much, and were all resolved in such a clean way. I was also distracted by the redundant dialog, spelling errors, and grammar issues. I'm not an English fanatic, but it needed an editor. I guess that's what you get for a couple bucks on .

    8. Love Letters, Bryan MooneyI read Love Letters as a " Book of the Month" book for a group I am in. This was a new author for me, but I enjoyed the book very much. As it became suspenseful I enjoyed it even more. I look forward to reading Mr. Mooneys next book.

    9. I normally love an epistolary novel -- which is what drew me to this novel in the first place. However, this book just did not work for me. As other readers have indicated, it was disjointed and the dialogue was stilted. The plot was all over the place.

    10. The book Love Letters by Bryan Mooney tells about a divorced woman who is trying to find the man she fell in love with. The main character, Katie, is a very shy but outgoing person. She is always willing to go after what she wants. And she is willing to change things she doesn't like. She went from owning a bookstore to owning an art studio because she wanted something more in her life. Her problem is that she found some love letters in books and she fell in love with the man who wrote them, but [...]

    11. Katie Kosgrove found love letters hidden in old books she had purchased at a local flea market. After reading one of the letters she tried to locate the owner with no success. Intrigued, Katie read a few more letters unaware her outlook began to change, she felt hope, renewed, and invigorated. The letters written by Jack to his wife consumed Katie to find this man. Drawn to each other, they shared many precious moments until the unthinkable changed everything.Surprising twists between the pages [...]

    12. I loved this book! The premise behind this book intrigued me right away and I wasn't disappointed. Books that tempt me with a "what if" situation usually turn out to be good books and this one definitely was! I would highly recommend you read this book if you like a good romance with a little suspense thrown in for good measure. I look forward to future books written by this author, Bryan Mooney.

    13. Kate, having recently moved to Florida after a bitter divorce, purchases books from Jack at a local flea market. As Kate readies the books for sale in her used book store, she finds money and letters inside. The letters are love letters, written by Jack to his wife Laura.Jack and Katie finally meet, and begin a relationship, midst the backdrop of an real estate deal going bad, and the opening of Kate's art gallery. This book is both a romance and a thriller, and is a worthy read.

    14. In present day social life style, where ambition and lust for power and money is growing like weeds 'Love Letters' is a must read for those who are starting their new life in this challenging world.I really liked the poetry in book more than the letters, however a couple of them hit the spot.Brian Mooney did a wonderful job in capturing the romance of prisoner and his lover-friend-wife who is suffering from Alzheimer's. The poetry in this book is exquisite.

    15. i really liked this book. im a sucker for a love story and this certainly was. The man wrote letters to his wife and these letters were found in a book that was at a garage sale. the person who found them struggled with the fact that she was intruding in the personal relationship between the writer and his wife. but she had to know how the relationship played out and how it ended. kept me reading because i too had to find out how it all worked out in the end.

    16. A beautiful love story of two people who not only find each other, but also rediscover themselves. The author has also skillfully mixed in suspense and tension from other elements. This really surprised me and added to the enjoyment. The book is not without issues, but the great storytelling makes it possible to see past them. and probably the average reader won't even notice.

    17. A good summer read, a modern romance that ask a compelling question; if you found someone's personal love letters in a used book you bought, would you read them? What if they also contained money, what then? Well, that's what the protagonist was faced with in this story. If you are a Nicholas Sparks fan you will probably like this also.

    18. I just loved this book I could not put it down. This was a great love story centered around love letters found in a bunch of books, also the suspense like the person watching Katie and Jack possibly losing his home. I give great applause to the author Bryan Mooney. I can't wait to read another in the near future by him. Thanks for making me cry and smile all in one great book.

    19. Well, parts of this book were a bit cliche;and real people use contractions in everyday speech. That being said, I really enjoyed the story. Once I got started reading it drew me right in. I'll definitely read more from this author:)

    20. I think this was my first time reading Byran Mooney and I loved this book! The suspense-fullness kept me turning the pages. Everyone that has found true love has also encountered mistakes along the way, this powerful story of love and yearning feelings will capture your heart.

    21. What makes this book interesting. Katie a second hand book shop owner finds letters in books that she purchases and she starts getting inspiration to restart her art work. What happens later read the book. Interesting story line. Easy and quick read as well.

    22. OF COURSE I would read letters if I found them anywhere! Who wouldn't?! It was hard to put this book down because I kept wondering who was watching her with glowing eyes?! I'm glad the whole story came together nicely. It was a fast-paced, easy enjoyable read for me.

    23. What I enjoyed about this book was that it was not your typical love story. There was a little mystery, along with a murder, and even a little mafia corruption in the midst of it all. Everything tied in nicely and it was an enjoyable read.

    24. Wow! I loved the book but especially loved the letters and the poems inside. I wish someone had written love letters like that to me. The story really keeps you going! I didn't stop smiling the whole time

    25. 3.5 stars. loved the romance of the story especially the letters. Felt that there was a bit too much going on with the thriller part of it and it got a bit convoluted. But overall a good summer read!

    26. The idea of the story was good, but there was too much of other stuff, like all the construction mob thing that was unnecessary and shalow. It really spoiled the love story for me.

    27. LOVE LETTERS - Bryan Mooney writes a well drawn easy to read feature about connections that bring us together in unexpected ways. A must read!
