    1. I bought this book after reading the intriguing pitch and have enjoyed it immensely through to the end. It’s the second of Scott Toney’s novels I own and obviously I’m a fan. The research and detail is astounding and the reader is instantly drawn into Lazarus’ world. The dialogue is correct for the time―even Jesus’ voice is easily recognizable. Bible enthusiasts will enjoy the familiar strain and feel quite at home with this book.We meet Lazarus, recently brought back from the dead a [...]

    2. I'm not an avid reader of Religious Fiction, but Scott Toney's LAZARUS, MAN turned out to be such an exceptionally compelling book that I couldn't not enjoy it. The Author paints evocative images, tells his story in exquisite language, his flawless manner of writing making it even more entertaining. Well, it was definitely worth taking a look at this book, and I ended up just wanting for more after I got to the last page.

    3. I enjoyed the book up to the point where the Apostle John is no longer with the other disciples only days after the crucifixion. This directly contradicts the Scriptures which I cannot tolerate even in fiction.

    4. i gave it 3 stars because it was a good story of what might have happened after lazarus was raised, however when baptizing he used emerison 2x which is correct but also used sprinkling 1 x not correct.

    5. Wasn't a FavoriteI thought the story line was unbelievable, and did not capture my interest. The characters were not real at all.
