    1. This was a terrific book, and I give it 4.5 stars. The author seamlessly weaves the history of the Peninsular campaign with the romance between her hero and heroine. Both are fully drawn characters, with depth, intelligence, and compassion. And there is a terrific cast of secondary characters. For those who like a well written book, a great story, and lots of history with their romance, I highly recommend this excellent work.

    3. Wilma sure knows how to tell a story while weaving in the history, romance and culture of the Regency period. Strong female characters. Recommend.
