    2. Wow! This book is beyond horrible. Such a great topic (the history of Van Halen in general and Edward Van Halen in particular) ruined by prose that is beyond sophomoric. Honestly, the author's writing style struggles to rise above a fifth-grade book report combined with the most asinine of comments read on youtube. This is exactly the kind of book that gives self-publishing a bad name.
